There are government accounting numbers, but I have no doubt that the data are falsified, like the rest of the reports they release.
As you have correctly pointed out on many occasions, GZ, if everyone quit their jobs tomorrow and no one was actively seeking work, the government's ridiculous employment formula would show that the nation's unemployment rate was 0%.
Regarding households that pay taxes, the Washington Post reported that about 53.6% of households paid income taxes in 2011, as compared to 46.4% that did not [1].
I seriously doubt these numbers are accurate. There are tens of millions of illegal aliens in this country. Many of them are reaping untold sources of income in the black labor and black commerce markets, as well as more income from drug sales, prostitution, human trafficking, welfare, many other forms of social assistance, food stamps, free housing, free education, free grants, free transportation, and many other freebies. Does anyone think they pay a dime in income taxes? I think that most of them do not.
Likewise, how many fast-food industry Blacks do you think have ever filed a tax-return form in their lives? Most probably claim a dozen or two bastard offspring as "dependents" anyway, and have no withholdings to speak of.
Our nation is majorly screwed, GZ!
