The biblical Jesus was against the accumulation of wealth. He preached holding things in common for the community. He also told his followers to sell all of their possessions and distribute the proceeds to those in need. He instructed his followers who were farmers to not harvest everything and leave some for travelers and the poor.
Where are you getting all of this? Jesus was never against accumulating wealth. But he was against the love of wealth.

Having too much wealth when there is poverty all around you is a sin, that's for sure. But there is nothing uniquely Marxist about that philosophy. Nor is that philosophy anti-capitalist. One can be a capitalist and still be very generous with money.

(And IMO capitalism is much more conducive to charitable giving than socialism, but that's beside the point.)
