To me, every full-time employed person should be compensated what he is worth given the market for his skills.

Otherwise, if you have some idiot who got a masters in Gender Studies, that person has no chance of getting a job in his or her field. Because the skills are essential worthless. Why not give this person an opportunity to fix his/her own mistake, rather than committing to a life in poverty?
