The explanation CJ used to come up with makes more sense to me. Believe it goes something like this: When the oceans warm up following global warming peaks, they release CO2... And the earth axis precision of course adds cycles, but certainly does not explain the big climate changes in the past by itself, where they cyles are much longer. Millions of years data with CO2 peaks tracking the temperature peaks at an average of 800 years, sometimes even less, does not count now man comes in action, right? Do not forget that current 'elevated' CO2 levels are real low compared to historical peaks contained in same data. /Taro
