I'll have to find plastic dishes that are microwave safe.

We used correlle ware for many decades when family camping. Microwave safe and very unbreakable.
The newer correlle square dishes take up less room than round, yet the smaller version is big enough for a supper.

We still eat out on the deck (Screened porch) most nights and some breakfasts and still on those pure white square plates.

Last night we had Hummingbirds, Gold Finches, Carolina Wrens, a Bluejay and 3 deer (a mom with 2 rapidly growing fawns) for company during dinner. Wife has bird feeders and numerous flower gardens to entice birds and butterflies. I put out salt and mineral blocks and scatter small piles of wheat berries for the deer. Mostly this time of year they hang out under the apple trees.

Most of the Hummingbirds have already left for Mexico.

I'm married to an outdoorsy genuine Audubon bird lady. Our first away from home date was tent camping at Cades Cove. It rained the first night. 2 days later we drove out in a snowstorm. We even stopped and hiked up to an overlook in blowing snow. She loved it and I loved her for loving it.
