Hi Christine, Brandon doesn't have alphabet blocks yet. If he points to a letter in a book, I'll tell him what it is. I am mostly teaching him things that he is curious about.

I thought that you would respond more to my "touchie feelie in the box" idea. What do you think of it? Too abstract? I think it really helps to use all of the senses. I do a lot of play with sounds also.

I really hate the short bursts of information that TV presents. It has really affected everybody's attention span to the point where they can't concentrate on something for more than a few minutes. I much prefer programs that explain things in depth.
