>> Dave, how many Americans had no health insurance at all? Hmm?

Very few.

In 2012 (which wasn't statistically different from 2011) --

63.9% of Americans were covered by private health insurance.
32.6% of Americans were covered by government payment plans.
15.4% of Americans had NO coverage of any kind.

When Obamacare is finished being implemented that 15.4% figure will not have changed materially, and could go either direction. Those 15% are comprised, in significant part, of people who could afford insurance but chose to spend the money in other ways.

So, we have destroyed our health care system, purportedly to insure this additional 15.4%. If Obamacare were a RESOUNDING SUCCESS, we might pick up a few percentage points, but may end up LOSING a few percentage points.

Most of these uninsureds were people who simply chose to be.

Obamacare was a solution in search of a nonexistent problem.
