If you were told to short REFR by these losers, read the market study below. Article was written June 2013

It will tell you what markets will be dominated by REFR's SPD. Shorts have 1.2MM shares short to cover on a stock which barely trades over 30K per day.

Read this Dale and tell me who is "crusading" for SPD? Not me.

"Automobile: Smart windows in automobiles help by reducing the energy required on air conditioning and have been fairly widely adopted, including by some premium brand cars; Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi are examples. The future potential for this part of the smart windows market is driven to some extent by newer car designs which emphasize glass and, for example, provide panoramic views and windshields that continue up and onto the roof area. With more glass in car designs the demand for smart windows increases at the margins.

We also continue to think that the main opportunity in the automotive space for smart windows will be SPD-based active on-demand smart windows. Due to the cost of SPD windows, these windows are appearing first in high-end luxury cars for niche applications like sun roofs, but it seems reasonable to assume that the uses will grow.

Aircraft: In the air transportation segment, Boeing has recently demonstrated its commitment to smart window technology in its flagship Dreamliner 787 aircraft. It will also not be a surprise if Boeing offers smart windows in its newer 737 and 777 aircraft to improve energy efficiency in the cabin and enable its commercial airline customers to differentiate themselves in the marketplace by providing a comfortable and convenient travel experience for their passengers.

With Boeing's adoption of smart windows for its newest product, other manufacturers we think will quickly follow and design new aircraft models with smart windows, and thus further fuel the growth of smart windows in the transportation segment in the U.S. and worldwide. NanoMarkets expects the smart windows market in aircrafts to be dominated by electrochromic glass and SPD films.

Not so hilarious if you're still short the stock.
