Z,
Except for a couple of generations, government, corporations, and labor worked together and really did give hundreds of millions of people very nice, secure lives.
LOL, sounds like Government Motors.
But Jesus, his story sounds like a horror story. Doesn't sound that way to you? Did you read the whole thing?

Of course I read the whole thing. Horror story? Give me a break. This guy has a positive outlook on life, even with the downturn in his fortunes. That may be part of the reason why he's 77 but still in good health with a straight back.

One of the comments in this article said it best:
"That's part of the job," he said. "You have to respect the job you're doing and not be negative -- or don't do it." Can this be posted on the Colleges/Universities US-wide, please? That way, we don't have the "I am entitled because of my BS degree" classes that are (and have) coming out of these institutions.
That is a lot more of a positive message than "I have a BS degree, and I'm an out-of-work printer repairman. I am the 99%."
