An economy that allows slavery is the antithesis of a free market. "Free" means just what it says. It is non coercive. It is non-coercive for the buyer and seller of goods and services and it is non-coercive for employee and employer (which, if you think about it is also a transaction for services).

This is why a constitutional republic that is based on the rights of the individual is key to a successful free market economy. It is also why true democracy is just another form of tyranny.

Please tell me that you understand that "free market" and "slavery" are mutually exclusive and that you are just using hyperbole to make a (very poor) point.
