Looks like the Arctic ice turned this past week at a reasonable 5 million square something or others. So that is good news except for the dozen or so boats that attempted to cross the NW Passage this past season and didn't make it through. Not something I would ever consider attempting, I like my water warm and comfortable for swimming. Hope their EPIRB's are functional and not needed.
