I believe this healthcare plan was "originally" a Republican idea...

I don't know the specifics but I've read enough to believe that that's probably true.

Why don't the Republicans try to work this thing out and make it better rather than just trying to get rid of it completely?

They KNOW they aren't going to just end it.

It looks like it's going to be a MESS and even the NYT's is saying that.

But the Republicans aren't doing anything to make things better they're just trying to play to their own factions and hope they can make the Democrats look bad.

Why don't they go in there and say we should have "Tort Reform" and then they'll work on the other stuff?

We really NEED tort reform on these medical issues....but I don't see the Republicans really fighting for it.

NONE of these guys from either party seem to give a DAMN about the country.
