This is a legal matter, that used to be different. It still EXISTS in some parts of the world. It has NOTHING to do with markets, or free markets. You're a moron, or very close to one.

The legality of the matter has no bearing on the fact that it is a transaction based on force that by its very nature subverts the competitive free market. The fact that slavery economies exist or existed has no bearing on the fact that an economy that is based on force negates the existence of the free market. It should also be pointed out that there are different kinds of slavery. When we are talking about slavery for commercial activities, which was exactly that your first post was about, it absolutely has everything to do with markets and the economy. If you are talking about sex slaves in the middle east, I guess it could be argued that this has nothing to do with any market. Though prostitutes may disagree with you.

Let's go back to the stolen cars. Let's assume that the stolen cars are brand new and were just purchased by a dealership prior to being stolen. Obviously the dealership has been wronged by the forceful removal of their property. But they are not the only people hurt by this transaction. Now the thieves are competing in the car market and they are selling brand new cars for half the price of rightfully owned brand new cars. Thus stealing sales from other competing dealerships. Selling goods and services that were stolen in a market where goods and services are rightfully created or obtained is not a free market.

And in this case, the slaves would be the dealership that had their labor stolen from them and this stolen labor was then used to gain an unfair advantage in the market. Again, this is not a free market.

And I know you are thinking, but they are never going to legalize stealing. Except that it is done all of the time in countries that nationalize businesses that were developed with private money. This has happened recently with mines and developed oil fields in Africa and South America. And this is legalized theft. And it gives the governments an unfair advantage in the market because they didn't have to make an investment in the development or equipment that is used.

I envy your ability ignore common sense and logic so that you can hold on to your fantasy world where all conservatives are evil and are only interested in victimizing other people for their own benefit. It's obviously impossible to do this and appear sane to the outside world, but I am sure that it makes you feel a little bit more self righteous and justified in your hatred of conservatives. Unfortunately, it has absolutely nothing to do with reality.
