Hi tejek; The problem with global warming theory is that to be correct, the earth's temperature has to keep going up. It's been flat for 15 years and the wheels are starting to come off the bus.

It's reached the point now that the mainstream media is taking note. Climate scientists who *don't* believe that CO2 is dangerous are getting quoted. Here's an example from yesterday, from one of our nation's leading (somewhat lefty) newspapers, the LA Times:

Global Warming 'Hiatus' puts Climate Change Scientists on the Spot
Monte Moren, LA Times, September 22, 2013
...
It's a climate puzzle that has vexed scientists for more than a decade and added fuel to the arguments of those who insist man-made global warming is a myth.
...
"All other things being equal, adding more greenhouse gases to the atmosphere will have a warming effect on the planet," Curry said. "However, all things are never equal, and what we are seeing is natural climate variability dominating over human impact."

Curry isn't the only one to suggest flaws in established climate models. IPCC vice chair Francis Zwiers, director of the Pacific Climate Impacts Consortium at the University of Victoria in Canada, co-wrote a paper published in this month's Nature Climate Change that said climate models had "significantly" overestimated global warming over the last 20 years — and especially for the last 15 years, which coincides with the onset of the hiatus.

P.S. The climate alarmists just got voted out of office in Australia and the new administration has already started firing climate scientists. The German public is about fed up as well, given that CO2 policies have driven their electricity costs ridiculously high. Even if someone can afford the electricity it's painful to see the jobs go overseas to hide from policies that can have almost no measurable effect on the earth's temperature.

But the cool thing about global warming is that it's so huge that the collapse is unavoidably public. This is not the usual case where the left screams like Chicken Little and then we all ignore forget about it. The global warming fiasco has been drilled into millions of students, as it falls apart it will be remembered by them as an example of left wing science gone very bad.
