One that scared me, many many years ago, at night was driving a very back road in Wisconsin, 20 below zero and wind and had the gas line freeze. Nothing for 10 miles, and zero cars on the road. Finally after an hour a car came by and stopped, he took me into town, woke up the tow truck guys and we went back and towed in the car. I was very lucky that fellow came along, might not of been another car on that road all night.
