Now that's a scary scenario. I never knew that could happen.

I've see the opposite when my father's little English car suffered from a vapor lock in the gas line. We had to sit and wait for the car to cool down. Eventually he installed an electric fuel pump just upstream from the fuel tank and that seemed to resolve the problem But a freezing gas line is something else again especially with injector tech to deal with.

Of course this is not the Northern Midwest. So we probably don't get the deep cold that they do.
