That is definitely the best part of living on the water, but I'm not swimming in cold water. Have to re-think our approach. Maybe we'd be better off renting in FL., then all we'd have to do is be on the lookout for sharks. gg

part of the fun would be swimming off the houseboat. Havasu water would be COLD in the winter. You wouldn't have to worry about crowds, for sure. Average high temps in the high 60's/low 70's. Average low temps in the low 40's. Too cold for me to be living out on the water.
