There is a strong alternative "brewing" in Java. The low end is going
to have a lot of useful little gadgets - the one I'm looking at getting
is a phone, with built-in email and internet access - The device has
already been shown in shows, local service is not yet available where
I live.

With the Internet becoming the primary desktop of most people in
the near future - Msft is going to get some real competition for the
first time
