Only idiots fall for this "Most scientists believe ______________". Most scientists thought Relativity was nonsense. Most scientists once thought heavier objects fell faster than lighter objects. Over time, the consensus view of scientists have been disproved time and again, often after centuries of idiotic nonsense. When you hear someone say, "Lots of scientists believe ..." that should immediately convey you're not talking about science anymore, you're talking about consensus.
