Yeah, it's kinda weird how the reciprocation process works. At a shooting range nearby, they used to offer Utah classes every few months. If you had a Utah and an Arizona CCW permit, you used to carry in all the states that offered reciprocity. Today, it's every state, with the recent exception of Nevada. That sucks, because I now have to take yet another course, in Nevada, and apply in person, again in Nevada, for a non-resident permit.
Besides NM, South Carolina and Kansas only recognize Arizona permits and do not recognize Utah permits. Likewise, Washington and Minnesota recognize Utah permits, but not an Arizona Permit.
As you may know, you don't need to have a CCW permit to conceal carry in Arizona anymore. It's still offered to speed through the background check and to carry in reciprocating states. |
