The Keys have beautiful winter weather. Shorts, T shirt and sandals are ok almost everyday and a sweatshirt for a while some mornings.

Corpus Cristi and Padre Island are supposed to be similar , though we haven't ever been there.

Winter vacations in Hawaii are no guarantee of good weather. I had one trip there years ago for 3 weeks in Feb that was overcast and cool most days. My wife went to Univ of Hawaii in Honolulu for one year and will not go there in winter.

Other:
Primitive tent camping has always been our our favorite. We recently decided against another RV for now and bought a new van so we can load up some gear and go again.

Adventurous winter backpackers trying to get warm might consider Crete. In 72, I winter camped in the caves along the river, ocean front, just outside Agia Gallini.
Also Southern Spain…on the Southern Mediterranean coast. In winter, think Malaga.
And along the coast of what was formerly known as South Vietnam. Besides the inland mountainous border area, I worked some between Phan Rang and Nha Trang. The latter has a lot of islands and I understand Hon Tre Island has been beautifully developed as well as the beach front town. In Dec 69, I attended a 7 or 10 day course on Hon Tre and slept out every night without a sleeping bag. Beautiful weather.
