'spose you would of rather been somewhere else. i got thru my last couple of flying experiences by closing my eyes tight, putting the headphones on and cranking up Elvis Costello singing "Oliver's Army". the pertinent line being - "I'd rather be anywhere else but here today". with a good uptempo it gets ya a rythym going even as your palms get clammy and you start to hyperventilate. it's particularly effective if followed by "We gotta get outta this place if it's last thing we ever do."
