Georgetown Capital (GET-V) arranges $2-million placement

Sept 26, 2013 - News Release

Georgetown Capital Corp. is pursuing a non-brokered private placement of up to $2-million which will consist of up to four million common shares of the company at a price of 50 cents per share. The shares under the offering will be subject to a four-month hold period in Canada. The company intends to use the net proceeds of the offering to pursue mineral property acquisition opportunities in Turkey and across Eurasia. The company is currently in discussions and carrying out due diligence with a number of parties in that area but has yet to sign any definitive agreements.

The company may pay finders' fees on the offering in accordance with the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange and applicable securities laws. Closing of the offering is anticipated to occur on or before Oct. 26, 2013, and is subject to customary closing conditions including, but not limited to the negotiation, execution of definitive placement agreements and receipt of applicable regulatory approvals including approval of the TSX Venture Exchange. Shawn Wallace, Georgetown chief executive officer, commented: "We are reviewing a number of gold exploration opportunities in Turkey and elsewhere in the Eurasian region. The completion of this financing should give us sufficient working capital to pursue some of these opportunities which will complement our goal of building a successful gold exploration company."

We seek Safe Harbor.
