>> did you read the damn article???

I did. But I understood it, which apparently you didn't.

Apparently its you who didn't understand. Every company having problems will try to blame poor sales on the economy. However, it is clearly noted in the article that there were other factors effecting Walmart's sales:

and the company has forfeited some sales because it doesn’t have enough workers in stores to keep shelves adequately stocked.

In addition they reported that there is inventory in the aisles; that they overstocked items that they did not need or are not moving; that the stores look unkempt.

I do think Walmart sales are hurting...........but that one of several factors. And it makes sense that their sales are hurting because the people most hurt by the sequester tend to be Walmart shoppers. Plus, Walmart's big regional base........the South.........is not doing as well economically as the rest of the country.

One other thing............many companies like Walmart look good for years because their great growth masks their inefficiencies. However, now, Walmart has run out of growing room.............and I believe their warts are starting to show big time.
