What’s new about the current House of Representatives is that party discipline has broken down on the Republican side. The sad part is it was eminently predictable. And predicted. The question now is, what happens when they fail and the backlash pushes the Republicans a lot further down the road to being a regional party? Because unlike Samson and very much like Charlie Sheen, they think they are winning and don't foresee the collapse of the building. How many will decide to take a 2nd amendment solution?
