Maybe not as bad as when there were violent confrontations over civil rights at the same time as violent antiwar protests. Also, people in their 60s are somewhat tamer than people under 30 in the sixties.

But angry old people can certainly develop fascist tendencies, and they can vote.

Back to gold. I am ready at any time to exit all gold-connected investments, but only provided the country is headed towards genuine economic solutions instead of problems piled atop problems.
