Sound great. I am going to the one in Atlanta on the 11th. The stock has not done so well in the last few days. I'm not sure what is holding it down but I think that the mention that the dime deal has been costing them money has some people worried. They are planning to raise some rates in Jan and that is something the reps don't want to see. The interstate long distance will not change but some intrastate (instate calls) rates will be adjusted. Excel had set 10› per minute for all calls, both interstate and intrastate in order to make is simple and they were also planning on being into local service sooner than is planned now which was supposed to effect the intrastate rates. Since the local service is being dragged out they were stuck eating the cost (the difference between the present intrastate rates and the 10›) for longer that they expected so they are going to adjust them up some until the local service is put into place.
If anyone has any more detail understanding of this please post. The above explaination is just my understanding from what I have been hearing.
