>> Where is the inflation?

Some people cannot find inflation. Maybe we can find it by the actions of political leaders...

The liberal government in California just raised the minimum wage from $8 to $10 over 3 years. That's about 7% annually. No inflation in California... productivity gains among the minimum wage workers really is 7% each and every year!

Over in Washington state, the minimum wage is indexed to inflation. In January 1, 2010, the wage was $8.55. In January 1, 2013, the wage was 9.19. That's 7.5% over 3 years. Yep... no inflation in Washington state either.

I guess nobody is watching the return of house flipping in Southern California either. House sold in January for 700K is now for sale for only 1.1M. Happening all over the coast. Its not inflation because "Its different this time!".

Bernanke is printing $85B each and every month and some here cannot find inflation... Not unexpected really. Those looking for inflation among the goods and services purchased by the 99% will generally find little... All those Bernanke Bucks are going to the 1% while barely a trickle makes its way to the 99%.

Obama and Bernanke have been the Dream Team for the 1%. And I personally thank them both.
