IBM is MUCH older than Intel. MOT is MUCH older than Intel. AMD is only 1 year younger than Intel. Yet today, Intel's CPU manufacturing is the largest by a wide margin - and Intel is the World's largest semiconductor manufacturer in the world - most likely EXPANDING their lead. All these companies have wafer fabs - yet Intel is the World's largest. From your description, it is such a simple matter to knock Intel out of business. Then why haven't they? Paul
