"The angel certainly could not be mistaken about this. There is an end to this age and it is at the resurrection."

So you believe that the "end of the age" means the end of the Church (body of Christ) age? You cannot discern between the people of God age and the people of the world age. The "end of this age" is the end of the Babylonian type age or the worldly age. The Church--the body of Christ--is spiritual and eternal because it is created by the Word and filled with the Holy Spirit.
1Pet1
[3] If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
[4] To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
[5] Ye also, as living stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

The Church is made up of "Living Stones" that are eternal and whose age will never pass away.

As for your: " The Jews will suffer and they will repent and realize they've been deceived and they will turn to the real Jesus.". This is simply another attempt to pretend that you know these things from scripture when it fact you learned them from Zionism and Scofieldism.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You have been deceived and confused into the false belief that "this age" is the same as the Kingdom of God--the eternal age of the saved sons of God. You are also confusing the age of the old covenant which was temporary with the age of the New Covenant in Jesus' blood (the Kingdom of God)which is eternal.
The Catholic and Orthodox Church liturgies have been correctly interpreting and living the scriptures for two thousands years. The Holy Spirit first taught the Apostles how to interpret prophecies, psalms, epistles and the Gospels for two millenniums. The things you struggle to understand are elementary in the Church. Like many of the tens of thousands of Protestant denominations, each group and each individual tries to interpret the scriptures as a "private interpretation". God warned us about this. The Scriptures were written and preserved by the Church leaders and they are the only source of accurate interpretation over the centuries. The Apostles and their heirs wrote the scriptures and collected them and determined which were inspired by the Holy Spirit. The only reason Protestants have a bible today is because the Catholic/Orthodox Church, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, wrote and preserve the bible over the last 2000 years. If the Protestants could trust the Catholic/Orthodox Church to give them a true inspired scripture, why can't they trust them to interpret those same scriptures? Many Protestants pick and choose which scriptures they will follow. In John 6 Jesus says: "less you eat of my body and drink of my blood you will have no life in you". What do the many Protestants do? Like the Jews who rejected Jesus' words in the John 6, many Protestants walk away. When Jesus gives the Church leaders, Apostles and their successors , the power to figure sins, in John 20:21-23, most Protestants deny this teaching of Jesus.

I am not "some kind of Catholic" but a full fledged believer in the Church Jesus established---a convert.
