Paul Engel,

Appreciate your posts. It has become increasingly more confusing for me to decipher just where we may be headed as far as "set-top TV devices". Companies like CUBE can make some decent silicon for MPEG2 and DVD players, but it appears more and more like Intel may actually take some set-top box biz with CPU chips. Do you think its impossible to tell right now or do you think Intel will be pumping out chips for mass TV set-top deployment in the next several years?

How long before MPEG2 is part of the Pentium Line?

Also, you never gave me your opinions on NUMA? I would love to hear if you have any interest in it? Of course, there's no hurry...it seems the tech universe seems to be in the "this stuff is going to waste" phase currently. :-)

thanks
pigboy

p.s. also, the seoul composite is down more than half from its year highs. do you think its insane to be looking there or more like an investment in amd, useless?
