Bill Gates has made it publicly clear that he wishes to move into electronic entertainment software. Microsoft does not have the creative talent for this kind of thing, nor the history of game brand name. They're excellent copycats in Redmond (they even claim this dubious distinction). Copycat-ism only goes so far in CD-ROM gaming. Read my previous message. For next-to-nothing, Microsoft would have a leading brand and creative development team. I've done a lot of research in this industry, and have met with developers and attended trade shows. Take my opinion for what you will. Dan Spillane Seattle/Redmond, Washington
