Two variants of the Nokia Lumia 1520 make a pit stop at the FCC

It's been a while since we've seen leaks of the Nokia Lumia 1520 with its massive 6-inch 1080p display. But all good things come to those who wait, and we've spotted two variants of the handset pass through the FCC today: the RM-937 and RM-938.

The differences between each of the filings is negligible, to the point where the only distinction really is the model number. None of the documents specify the frequencies supported by each handset — all we know is that both support LTE, which helps them stand out a bit compared to another variant referenced in the documents (RM-940).

However, we know for a fact they are Lumia 1520's because of the diagram seen above. When compared to the photos in a leak from September, we can see that the placement of the SIM tray and headphone jack are a match (check it out for yourself below).

So at the very least, we can take away that the Nokia Lumia 1520 is still on its way out and may have variants destined for different regions, so it won't just be an AT&T exclusive as some have feared.
