Not only the panda cam is being shut down, but they are gonna put barracks around the WW 2 memorial, because a bunch of ww 2 vets are coming into town. the memorial is out in the open there's not to steal so why ?

also the reflecting pool filtration system is being shut down.

the media will fly out to the grand canyon today to try to get a photo shoot with a little girl scout who can't get into the canyon, they hope she will be crying, if not they will make her cry, probably shoot rubber bands at her until she cries
