Well, I think it as much "extortion" as is what the House Republicans are doing is. I don't think either meets the textbook definition of extortion. I would say I used a bit of hyperbole there, as did RMF, Bob Woodward, and the LA Times.

But what the Senate did definitely strikes me as a shakedown of sorts. I really hope this will come back before the Court -- not as much because I oppose the ACA but because I oppose the process that was used to enact it.
