<let us know what you are thinking here.>

I picked up more shares earlier today. I have some more buy orders in.

I am very bullish on VVUS, as the scrips keep building. Efficacy rules. A strong marketing partner can only help. I also like the JNJ background of the CEO. JNJ knew well about the weight loss potential of topirimate obviously. I did sell out half of my long term shares upon the AdComm in the premarket hrs the next trading day, but still hold the other half that were bought in the 6s. Over the past several months, I picked up some more shares (in the 10s) but held off after the former CEO illness-related stepdown. (Obviously cancer can come back in a surprise so I do not entirely agree with some pundits on their view that his 'potential' illness should have been disclosed, but I am not near that situation to know what really happened.)

Look at Meridia and the desire of patients to get that drug (prior to being shut down by the FDA). A big pharma marketer will only help sending scrips much higher. I also see the company being bought out at some point. Too bad it takes so long for the cardiac outcomes trial to enroll and report, I'll bet that will be positive. I do not see Tam leaving as a good thing though. Current BOD and management are motivated to sell the company, but at what price?
