Simpy, that would be your (R) House, that refuses to PAY for it. Moron.

The House of Representative stood its ground in not wanting to support yet another continuing resolution that would allow the federal government to continue to spend hundreds of billions more than it takes in every year. They have wanted to cut spending for years now and the administration simply will not do so.

It is the White House that has ordered the Interior Department to order the National Park Service to close these monuments. And it is the White House that ordered additional barricades to be erected at the World War II Memorial this morning. And it is the White House that, when WWII vets requested an exemption, because it is their service that the memorial commemorates, and because they have planned for more than a year to fly in to see that proud memorial, refused them an exemption.

And it is the administration's Interior Department that has ordered the arrest of anyone who 'trespasses' on memorial grounds, as of today.

And the World War II Memorial was funded through private donations, not public money.

[Notice I didn't call you a moron.]
