taxi, the initial physical office will be at OSA headquarters in Ringgold, GA. We have a nice office building with extra space and large conference rooms. (Also a very large garage, seems that is where the best new ventures start) Maybe we move it to the "center of the universe" someday. Or better yet, to some nice tropical island..........

It may be that we will IPO the parent company at some point, but my initial concept is that the parent company will remain private while creating a series of new startup ventures. The parent company will make money by virtue of its partial ownership of the spin-offs.

It is likely that the work-for-options pay plan will evolve in salary plus options over time. But in the beginning I am trying to avoid two things:

1. Don't want to seek outside funding for the parent company. Whether the outside funding is debt or equity, it always places limitations on the freedom of company choices. I want this company to have unlimited options.

2. Don't want very much overhead expense, else we are forced to violate #1.

But the spin-off ventures are a different strategy. As soon as a venture team proves the viability of its business plan, then a new venture is formed with a focus on that business plan and we will seek funding for the new venture, operating it as a more traditional company.

The parent company will be constantly seeking new talent because it will be losing staff members to each new spin-off company.
