Hi guys. Below are some of my favorite phrases in the 2ndQ report:

I'm surprised there was no analysis on this thread of the most positive quarterly report in some time. For example:

"We believe that margins will continue to improve as production volumes increase during the current quarter and pricing continues to level off"

"The momentum for DVD products began to build during the second fiscal quarter as our production in the quarter, 227,000 units, was about equal to the total number of DVD discs produced in the first six months of calendar 1997. In the month of October, Nimbus produced an amound of DVD discs similar to the amound produced during the entire second quarter."

"Orders for DVD-ROM product have also recently begun to increase."

"We will begin productin CD Audio and CD-ROM products in our Luxembourg facility later this month."

"We expect that the total capital costs for the Luxembourg facility will be less than budgeted levels."

I also liked that they added 12% to equity by increasing total assets from $108M to $121M.

It's been very dissapointing to have only picked up $1 on the recent "crash" price when there seemed to be some high volume buying going on at 11 1/2 & have the best ahead of us, IMO. Perhaps we'll have to wait for the report with the xmas sales in it. At least the moving average lines are now much lower which should make it easier to stay above it once we get there.
