Very likely candidate for Mount Sinai, Gebel Khashm et Tarif in the Sinai. It is the right distance from a couple of indicators in Exodus 19:1 and Deuteronomy 1:2; @ a 2 months journey from Ramses and 11 days from Kadesh Barnea below Canaan, and it has an amphitheater shape around it. The mount is about 2500 ft. high.

29°40'9.18"N and 34°38'0.28"E.
