Jeff, I looked up your profile on SI & was ROFL. My broker is in Irving,
Texas, just like you! Are you sure that you're really a photographer, not
my broker? Trying to run the stock down by telling clients to sell just so
you can jump in and buy, buy, buy???
I had decided to go ahead & dump QDEK Thursday morning,9-19, but changed my mind
when I saw the nice upward move on the stock. No doubt related to the press
announcements that were released on 9-18 (did you check their homepage???). When I brought
the new releases to the attention of my broker, he agreed that we should wait
a bit longer to see if the move is sustained through Triple Witch, & the Fed
meeting next week. If so, then I'll probably hold on...yes, patience...
With regard to your being dumb, or not...I have learned that it is never wise to get sentimental
when dealing with the stock market. Save the emotion for personal relationships! It's fine to be bullish
on a stock that's barely surviving, but if the general feeling of other investors
is that the stock sucks, you will be unlikely to profit in the issue. I also like their products, as I had mentioned...Perhaps if
these recent announcements from QDEK can generate new interest, we may all see
some relief.
As far as your comments on someone trashing the stock, glad to see that you think
that it's a man (given your description of his personal attributes)...since you
say that you've been married before, apparently, you are not entirely soured on
the female gender.
Also glad to see that you feel that you are still "young"...I just had my 35th birthday last
week!
Are you buying any QDEK here? Is anyone buying QDEK here?? Good luck.
