LOL......yep I stayed for 10 days in 1983......no cars on the roads.......Club Med had opened one of the original outposts......there.....

Tahiti hit the trave cognescenti...... after the twin Occurrences of 1962..... Marlon Brando buying his famous island..... which occurred after he remade the 1962 classic..... "Mutiny on the Bounty.

Of course when we speak of Tahiti........ it goes without saying the most incredible lagoo.... which must be the size of 15 football fields.... with the the incredible ultra fine black sand...... with narry a rock or shell....

the damned plan flight on the little 2 prop plane was the scariest flight I have every been on considering....the skys where fabulous azure and there was not an turbulence in sight...... save for the pilots ..... who where chain firing singapore slings at 11 AM.........I suspect that they were still on night maneuvers....in more ways than one.....

and they seemed just a touch to worked up about the Manifest benefits of The Bolivian Marching Powder ....




I'm pretty damned lucky if I can tell you where I was 5 out of 8 nights... the past 2 months..... and all I can say for certain is that the accounts and the travel planners......... are sending me fruit baskets.......... oh yes and the occasional bottle of courvoisier.....

oh yes,,,and who has a leading indication of the Lynchpin Global Liquidity Center......which I have been told by 3 very wize men ..... is going to cause a great amount of consternation for way too many of us...........
