At least a dozen gunshots were fired when she tried to flee cops, who had trapped her two blocks from the Capitol. She was believed to have been hit several times.

A child believed to be a girl about 2 or 3 years old was found unhurt in her black Infiniti sedan

In America the cops did what?
What! They shot an unarmed women repeatedly and often in a car with a kid on board!!! Fear is always ugly.

Turning your car around in front of a roadblock to go back the way you came is not a crime. Nor is it a threat.

We have better rules of engagement protecting Afghan citizens at road blocks.
IF those cops were US soldiers in Afghanistan they would be facing court martial charges.
