"If the RC church was THE answer,"
Jesus is the answer and the Catholic (eastern and western) Church contains the fullness in proclaiming that answer. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit she taught us the proper method of living and proclaiming the answer by writing and preserving the divine scriptures in the New Testament, by administrating sacramental life of the Church (Holy Communion, Confession etc), by consistently joining both in divine worship (Liturgy). Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit Church spread the Gospel throughout the Mediterranean area, to the Middle East, and then to Western Europe, to northern Europe, Siberia and finally to Japan, China, Russia, North and South America. Tens of thousands of Catholic martyrs gave their lives to spread the ANSWER. For the first fifteen hundreds years of Church history, they were the only ones with ANSWER and that were willing to share the answer at the cost of martyrdom.

Wow! It's difficulty to think of a bigger lie and distortion of history and truth than this statement. I've heard this kind of falsehood from Talmudic Jews but when it comes from a Christian, it's difficult to understand how an informed mind can slip in such deception. Let's go together and examine a brief overview of the history of Talmudic Judaism and Islam for the last 2000 years.
Islam started in the 600s by Mohammad. He wrote his "inspired" Quran and claimed to receive new revelations from the God of Abraham. Those dark revelations distorted the spiritual faith of Abraham transmitted to Isaac and his spiritual descendants. What Mohammad did was steal the spiritual birthright of Isaac and gave it to Ishmael and his descendants---the Arabs. His dark revelations about Jesus (God's ANSWER) reduced Jesus to simply prophet inferior to himself. His teaching remove Jesus's divine sonship to God, they remove Jesus's Crucifixion and Resurrection and they remove the idea that Jesus died for the sins of humanity and then was raised from the dead. In short, Islam tries to totally destroys God's ANSWER in both the Old and the New Testament. Their message is clearly anti-Christ since they reject Jesus as son of God and savior of humanity. In the last 1400 or so years, Islam has spread it's poison to some estimate at 1 billion people. During these last 1400 years, the horrible "sinful" Catholic/Orthodox Church was spreading the truth to England, Germany, Russia, Siberia, N and S America, etc. etc. Tens of millions and maybe hundreds of millions of souls saved by the Catholic/Orthodox Church. In conclusion: Islam destroyed the souls of billion by its actions and anti-Christ teachings while the Catholic/Orhtodox Church was saving tens and probably hundreds of millions and yet you see the Church as "more sinful" than Islam. Interesting!
Now let's compare the Catholic/Orhdox Church to Talmudic Judaism. First of all Talmudic rabbis have, for the last 2000 years, been in the business of brainwashing tens of millions and probably hundreds of millions of Jewish people and the little Jewish children into the hatred and rejection of Jesus Christ as Messiah and son of God. In addition to destroying the souls of millions of Jewish people, Talmudic Judaism has worked against Jesus and his Church to distort and pervert the principles of salvation that can only be found in the redemptive work of Christ. By their control of the media, TV networks and the Federal Reserve they continue to preach their anti-Christ doctrine and to create anti-Christian revolutions all around the world. One example will suffice--the Boslshevik/Communist Revolution in Russia. Tens of millions of Christians were destroyed and an anti-Christ government was established over Russia and Eastern Europe. That's a lot sin for the religion of Talmudic Judaism.
Despite this historical reality, you say about the RC meaning that Catholic/Orhodox Church that :"then it would not be filled, throughout history, with probably more sin than any other formal "religion" or "denomination."
The Church leadership and members have and continue to commit many many sins. Yet despite this human weakness, they continue to do God's work and the "gate of hell have NOT prevail against them".
But this statement is blatantly false:
"if it contained THE answers and THE power from God, those at the top would not fail so miserably through the ages, would they?" They have in fact been very very successful despite their many sins and human weaknesses. The reason for their success is again the promise by Jesus that "the gates of hell would not prevail against them." They have and continue to give the world the Gospels, the holy Liturgy and the holy traditions. |
