Steve, that is a good question. I will try to answer it with my opinion. The word alert has been used generally speaking in the market as "HOT INFORMATION" for a long long time. It is used to draw attention. When those words come from the internet instead of a broker or financial advisory then I read it and take the information and put it with the rest of the information I have compiled. I always read them, then I set about trying to understand them if I do not already understand them. Some people are more excitable than others and add exclaimations, wording and etc to an alert. I do not care how an alert looks or who it is from, (I always appreciate them) I am going to try and immediately do two things:

A. verify the information contained in the alert
B. Take whatever action is the best for me even if I only file the info

The best advise I can give you is to call the companies you are interested in and ask for everything for investors they have. Read it and ask questions. Learn as much as possible about what the company does and how it does it. Find out as much as posssible about the company's financial picture.

There are many personalities in the market and on the internet. If you are your own man and get the facts, you will probably feel better and end up smarter about a lot of things. I mean this only in the nicest way. Just get involved in your future and stay involved. Nobody is ever too old to learn something new. Hang in there and do not be embarrassed. My opinions only!

Good luck and best wishes,

Debra Watson
