Mercedes SLK 200 Radar Safety Edition announced for Japan Mercedes SLK 200 Radar Safety Edition 04.10.2013 Production limited to 100 units Mercedes has introduced the SLK 200 Radar Safety Edition in Japan. Dressed in Polar White, the special edition features a Magic Sky Control panoramic roofand an AMG sport package which includes a new front bumper, revised side skirts and a modified rear fascia. The package also adds AMG-branded brake calipers and 18-inch alloy wheels. Interior changes are relatively limited but the model comes nicely equipped with Bengal Red Nappa leather seats and "solar red" ambient lighting. As the name implies, the car has also been equipped with the Radar Safety Package which adds Distronic Plus, Brake Assist Plus, Blind Spot Assist, and Lane Keeping Assist. Like the standard model, the SLK 200 Radar Safety Edition has a turbocharged 1.8-liter that produces 184 HP (135 kW) and 270 Nm (199 lb-ft) of torque.
