Then by your own definition, most in the RC church are unsaved, and most of the popes, if the current one is anything to go by, probably are unsaved as well (see the last linked article in this post). RC's violate Jesus as the ONLY mediator to God when they step in a booth and say "Father forgive me . . ." to a priest. RC's violate and distort salvation by millions believing that it is the actual WATER of baptism and the sacraments TAKEN that do the saving of a soul. I've known many, many Catholics who were taught that a dying man, who was unsaved and unconscious, could be saved and in Heaven if someone would "baptize" them before official death. All of these things point out the flaws in the Roman Catholic Church, and IMO, any Catholic who truly is saved, will get there not because of, but in spite of the RC Church. Read this article, and tell me how you can hold such a high opinion of the RC church? independent.co.uk
