There will be no medical underwriting with Obama care. You'll be accepted regardless of your health. Your premium will depend on your age, income, and what plan you choose (amount of deductible and co-pays).

From what I've read this will be far cheaper than what it would have cost you to obtain your own private policy as the pool of healthy young people is supposed to subsidize the costs of older people.
