The war on poverty is about as successful


There is no war on poverty. There is a war on wealth. There is a war on business. And this means that there is a war on jobs.

The government policy regarding poverty is to endorse and enable it.

Liberals derive power from hardship and poverty. If the Democrats actually did the things that reduced poverty in a meaningful way, they would be signing their own death warrant. Reducing poverty is political suicide for liberals/democrats.
