You cannot keep transferring wealth to the old away from the young. The young are already having a devil of a time in this economy, and further wealth transfers would, imo, be insane. What we need to do is take from wealthy seniors who do not need assistance, and give that to the poor ones- so instead of intergenerational transfers, you have intragenerational. That would sit a hell of a lot better with all the rest of the population. Obamacare is already going to be another wealth transfer to seniors- you've really got to watch overloading the young folks, or they are all going to go Ayn on you and then we'll have soylent old people.
